De Comarmond & Koenig is the oldest firm of Attorneys in Mauritius. It is the successor of “Etude Leclézio” which dates back to 1828. It still has the largest practice in the country and also regularly acts for large international corporations. The firm is engaged in the general practice of the law with particular emphasis on corporate and commercial law, litigation and insolvency. The firm is the standing legal adviser of the major Mauritian public listed companies and is known for its expertise in mergers and acquisitions and all forms of financing including project financing and securities.

 

De Comarmond & Koenig is “band 1” listed by IFLR and is rated amongst the market leaders by Chambers. The firm is qualified as “traditional, no-nonsense group with an impressive final product” and “shakers and movers”.
